	Hi, Nate:

I scanned in the US Forest Service 1974 maps for California. It is a
PDF file about 36 MB, 77 pages. I sent you a link to a downloadable
file via Adobe Send Now. There is a 7 day limit for access. I could
also mail you a CD if this doesn't work.

I also have the 1974 Oregon map, but it is a folded map  so it is
difficult to scan in. Here is their verbage for the PCT from Hwy 66 to
the border (they described the trail from North to South:

5 mi. south on Soda Mntn Rd #39-3E-32 to Pilot Rock Jeep Road.

7 mi. Jct. Jeep Road and Rd. #41-2E-3 9 (west)

2 mi. to: Jct. Pilot Rock Rd (south). Follow Rd #40-2E-33 northwest.

2 1/2 mi. to Jct Highway 99 (west)

1 1/2 mi. Interstate 5 underpass (north). Water and supplies 1mile
north on Hwy 99.

1/2 mile underpass to Jct. Mt. Ashland Rd #4059 (west)

9 1/2 mile (west) to Mt. Ashland Ski Lodge

11 mi. to Wrangle Gap (west). Water and camping 1000 ft. north of the
trail

2 1/2 mi. Jct Rd #40501 (southwest). Dutchman Lookout 1 mi. north

2 1/2 mi. to Oregon State Line

It is all on Forest Service Roads, using an old numbering system. An
interesting side note--the map says the PCT is 420 miles long in
Oregon.

	Good Luck,

	--Fireweed
