[pct-l] r.e. Guffy Campground

I stayed at Guffy. The word 'exposed' hardly begins to describe it. I  
found a spot part way down the hill so as not to be in the full blast  
of the wind. The rocks in the area are the heaviest rocks ever. I  
needed every bit of heft to keep my tent from blowing down. All night  
it blew fine mica dust through the noseeum mesh of my tent, coating  
everything with a fine fools gold-like powder. One of the coldest,  
windiest and worst nights for me on the trail.

This weekend Trailhacker and I loaded up 6 or 7 liters of water and  
spent 2 night at a waterless campsite in the local mountains. We did  
a lot of trail work during the day. You'll get used to camping  
without water nearby and come to love the freedom it gives you to  
camp anywhere and not have to be a slave to lakes and springs.
