[pct-l] backpack

I use a belly bag to carry some of that stuff.  It is not big enough for water, but it does hold a lot of the little things that might get lost otherwise; be needed while walking or be more valuable (ID, phone, camera) than I want to leave laying with my backpack when I drop it.
