Hi all, I am asking about need for bear spray. I went out and bought a bottle of bear spray without thinking about it much. The canister is huge! And the guy at REI said it was the smallest he'd ever seen. Also, I assume that you can't fly with that or ship it (right?) so what was I thinking? Should I wait and pick it up later in the hike?
