[pct-l] Idyllwild and ADZPCTKO

Hi,
I'm starting about the 17/18th of April. And I defenitly want to visist 
the kickoff.
Is it a good plan to get from Idyllwild to the Kickoff and hopefully back?
Or is this plan too slow/too fast/too ambitious?
I'm quite unsure as this is my first thru hike and I have no idea how 
fast I'll be.
Can someone give me a hint on how the buses work in the USA, especially 
local buses to get from Idyllwild to Lake Morena?
