Oh, and my goodness don't bypass Little Crater
Lake<https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1280&bih=939&q=little+crater+lake&oq=little+crater+lake&gs_l=img.3..0i24l6.1786.4495.0.4654.18.10.0.8.8.0.152.913.7j3.10.0...0.0...1ac.1.7.img.tYtS9RrTfAU#imgrc=JA-5urcwqJ-DGM%3A%3BRl0XEiVbWFstTM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Ffarm3.static.flickr.com%252F2424%252F3877323960_d46eb5bd5c.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.flickriver.com%252Fphotos%252F12635150%2540N04%252Fsets%252F72157617666874792%252F%3B500%3B333>which
is south of Mt. Hood and north of Ollallie Lake. It's not more than
1/4-1/3 mile off the PCT so it is barely a side-trip, but I guess I could
see heads-down border-bound or busters bypassing it without thinking to
stop. It is simply *AMAZING*. If you're really really brave, jump in for a
*very* quick dip.
