I am looking to get my first GPS unit. I do not plan on using it very often but I am planning on doing some off trail peak bagging. I will always have a map and a mechanical compass but would like to have the option of bringing a GPS. Does anyone have reccomendations? I would rather spend more money and get something good than try to save a few bucks.
