Take the Marta bus. Www.marta.cc/maps/BBV_otm_mapsched.pdf. From Big Bear (Von's shopping center 3 times a day Mon-sat )to San Bernardino Metrolink (Amtrak).
Take Metrolink 20 trains per day weekdays to LA union station. Transfer to the Ventura line or Amtrak to Burbank Airport train, there also is a shuttle service from union station to LAX.

> To get off the mountain, use a MARTA bus (Mountain Area Rapid Transit Authority) from Big Bear to Riverside Amtrak. From their you want to get to Amtrak's Burbank Airport station. You can walk to the terminal from the train. Another option for you is to fly out of Ontario Airport, 25 minutes west of San Bernardino/Riverside. MARTA has stops in San Bernardino also.
