Hi Guys - I am emailing from NZ - Two years ago I did the JMT - Unbelievable hike! NZ has some stunning hikes in the South Island, but JMT country was so different to us (you guys coming down under will probably say the same in reverse)

I am back for more in 2014.

I don't have time to do Touolome to the border in one shot, got about a month.

I am a lightweight hiker (see my blog at www.lightweighttramping.blogspot.com<http://www.lightweighttramping.blogspot.com> )

I am looking for feedback on the best section to do next:

Touolome - Bleden

Belden - Ashland

or

Ashland - Bridge of Gods

I will probably get back in 2015/16 to cover off the balance (but at 65 gotta cram in as much of the best parts as I can B4 the knees give out :-)

Appreciate your feedback - of course some may suggest Cascade Locks North?

By my reckoning around 450 miles would make a comfortable "smell the roses" hike in a month?

Cheers Rob - Auckland NZ
