[pct-l] Late Start 2014

Starting two weeks late is well within the realm of possibility. Plenty of
hikers start that late and finish up every year. We just had 2 people
finish the trail in 2 months; doing it in twice the time is quite feasible
for most people. You will have a little less time to enjoy things off the
trail, like towns and trail angels, but if you focus on your mileage per day
it's no big deal. Of course, like any year, the weather is variable, and it
would behoove you to get as far north as fast as you can, etc etc, but you
can certainly thru-hike the PCT without flip-flopping in that timeframe.
Caveat emptor.
