[pct-l] Late Start 2014

Thanks, all. These echo the thoughts and plans in my head, but not having
done this monstrous and wonderful thing before, I was growing concerned. I
had planned 20 miles a day on average, and have been training for the past
six months or so.

Gary, I want to do the whole thru-hike--and preferably from one end to the
other in a solid line--for a whole host of reasons, including all the
cliches: proving to myself I can do it, the spiritual pilgrimage, the sense
of epic journey... Because I really want to, in the final analysis.
