I hiked from Campo to Highway 58/Tehachapi in November 1996 and had no problems. As long as the weather holds out you should be fine, just be prepared for freezing weather every night. Keep an eye out for storms since it will be cold. I had to sleep with my water bottles to keep them from freezing. Other than that, it was quite enjoyable to be hiking through there at that time of year.

> I've been getting cancer treatment/chemo for a year and get my last one Nov 7th. I want to celebrate by doing a 5 day section of PCT. We're thinking of any section from Deep Creek to Tehachapi. (We've done Campo to Deep Creek so far). Am I nuts for thinking any part of this trail is doable in November? If it's not nuts, which 50-60 mile stretch is best? I am still slow and hate snow.
