Maybe the Women of the PCT would like to join the North350Blades women only weeklong workparty in August. Its list on the PCTA website.
Probably got myself in trouble with this suggestion!

Hi, Nikki. I'm snickering. Jeffrey was responding to my plea to Diane that she join our Women of the PCT group. That's how the whole conversation got started! I wanted her to come over from the Dark Side so that I wouldn't have to do so much sifting. Alas, she's much more even-tempered than I and navigates these waters quite well, so she won't join us. She has a thing about FaceBook. :o( Perhaps we can appoint a liaison officer to come over here and cull out the truly useful information for us so that we don't have to do it. Some of the people on this list actually care about hiking and the trail. Like Jeffrey. :o)

If you're looking for a great resource without the other garbage, try the FB page. You'll be informed AND inspired...and to the "bad apples" out there: one reason I hike is to get away from the elements of society that are like you. Check your egos and look around...most of us are here for a positive and enlightening experience. Just my $.02 :)
