[pct-l] Sad news about Ruffwork (Ritchey Ruff)

Ritchey Ruff (trail name Ruffwork) has had a massive aneurysm and passed
away last week. His passing is such a tragic loss and he is missed
tremendously by family and friends.


He is known on the trail as Ruffwork and is a regular participant at the
annual kickoff and has spoken at that event in the past. Many may recognize
him as the creator of the excellent mobile App, PCTHYOH (PCT Hike Your Own
Hike) which helps hikers stay on the trail and provides valuable info about
resources on the journey.


A memorial will be held for him near his home town of Beaverton, OR on May
10th.



If you could please pass this along to the trail walkers – I know he has
made many, many friends over the years.
