Wow, Greg, what an incredible memory of your dad!

In 1974 my dad had been deceased for 5 years when I arrived at Manning...but 
my mom was there!

Thank you for sharing your priceless memories of your dad. Mine introduced 
to the outdoors but never went backpacking with me, although he did hike 
about a mile up the trail in Manning Park and met me with tears in his 
eyes....
