[pct-l] Backpack Theft

Most places it wasn't an issue, we just brought them in and piled them
under a side of the table or somewhere nearby.  One gal in 2010, on a long
road walk in Socal, left hers by the side of the road to take a leak and
when she got back from her bush, it was gone.  That fast.  So do keep an
eye on them.  By the way, the hiker community came up with replacement gear
and supplies in a matter of a day or so because of this forum.
