[pct-l] Echo Summit recon now

LadyJ and I just got back from a quick trip in to Echo Lake Chalet, South Lake Tahoe. Pictures are at the Mountain Education Facebook page

Everything is good and frozen and some snow is on the ground. Southern aspects have no snow while northern aspects and in the shade of trees may have up to a foot or two. It is melting, but not fast as it very cold at night. 

The February 15th Snow Basics Course will run!

The SBC-Oregon course (2/28-3/2/14) has filled beyond full and we’re considering opening another date for Feb. 21-23.

The SBC-Washington course out of the Dinsmore’s filled for 3/7-9/14!
The second SBC-Washington course the next weekend is almost full!

Most SBC-Tahoe courses are nearly full!

The SBC-Southern California is nearly full!

...and Yes, we will be going to the Gathering of Gear Geeks in the Bay Area...
