[pct-l] Bear Canisters

Hello- Planning a thru-hike this year and looking for bear canister input.
Due to requirements in certain sections, it seems the recommendation is to
begin using one in Kennedy Meadows and continue at least thru Sonora Pass.
Do you put your canister in a re-supply box to be picked up at/near Kennedy
Meadows? Do you start with it? It's extra weight, but peace of mind. (Was
anyone else on the high sierra loop summer of '12 during the hanta virus
scare? Bear canister aka mouse canister….kidding). Would love feedback.
