[pct-l] Browns Mtn shelter - mile 1770.5

We are hiking from Hyatt Lake to Crater lake in 4 weeks and plan on staying at Browns Mtn shelter, but I have heard that the pump is not working - thus no water.  Has anyone been able to verify if this is true?
