[pct-l] trailer for "Wild"

Hi Tim!  Good to see our small group of PCT class of 96 is still out there.  The photo of Reese walking the wrong way near that sign is a publicity photo.  When I was invited to the set in November in Portland I met the photographer whose job was to take such photos.  He probably considered lighting conditions, background, etc.

I am trying to find out from Cheryl which sections of the actual PCT were used versus non PCT trails.  There are numerous logistical challenges with getting equipment and crew to suitable filming locations.  The BLM land shown in the photo may have been taken on the actual PCT (many roads) but I recall that all the trail signs in that area were riddled with bullet holes in 1996.  That sign in the photo looks way too new!

I'm a little confused, which is not a hard thing to do. I went to the imdb
web site and brought up the still pictures. The first one show her walking
just beyond a big sign for the PCT. The locations listed on the sign are
for Willow Springs then Kelso RD, and finally Sequoia Nation Forest.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't she walking the wrong direction? Now I
have not read the box and probably never will, but does she get lost a lot?
