I was a drowned rat when I arrived in Cascade Locks via Eagle Creek Trail. It poured all day and the dripping brush, brushed me as I walked through. My soaked hiking pants had a 1" square of "dry" in the middle of my thigh wearing Frogg Toggs. It may help to leave a gap between your socks and pants so moisture doesn't wick upward. Jollylopper
