This new Tahoe snow storm...what was predicted to amount to 3 to 6 inches just increased to 16 inches!

We couldn’t dig a decent snow cave last weekend (only 5 feet of snow in Desolation Wilderness), but now with another foot and a half and more coming in, the next Snow Basics Course on the weekend of April 4 ought to be able to build a condo! (Start several tunnels going into the hillside. Each digs a round room. Join them together inside the hill. Some become bedrooms, one becomes the “gear room,” and one becomes the kitchen!). Fun!
