[pct-l] Mammoth Mountain Snow Report

Hi gang,
Trouble is back in town.
The girls are dancing in the street and the guys are  "gnashing" their teeth.

Mammoth Mountain only got .5" of new snow in May.
The current base at Mammoth is 16" at 9,000'...48" at 10,000'...75" at 11,000".
That is substantially less than a month ago and it does not look like there is
going to be much, or any new snow, in the remainder of May.
Also, since the temperature has been in the 60 to low 70 degrees during the day
and the mid 40 degrees at night, it is melting rapidly.
  
This of course is "Bad News" for "Ski Bums" like me, but "Good News" for
"Hiker Trash" like you.
