[pct-l] Bearvault as bounce box

I'm planning to hike the PCT this year. I am from Canada, and don't have a
US base to send and receive supply boxes during the hike. I own a Bearvault
which I would intend to use in the required sections. Is it practical to use
my Bearvault as a bounce box for basic resupply items such as guidebooks,
maps, and items needed towards the end of the trip, rather than the standard
fixed rate postal boxes or 5 gal paint buckets?
