For those of us starting section D:

Hwy 2 above Wrightwood (HM 369) is currently closed for the Winter/rockslides. Per the locals here, it may open in a few weeks. Check with CalTrans in a few weeks for an update.

So if you need to head into Wrightwood, take the Acorn Trail at HM 363.4
