as I speak!

Note that the "odds" are that a southbound hike will be very doable this
year. Much higher than normal temps and lower than normal precipitation
are "predicted."
It's early yet of course, but this very well could be a year similar to
2005 when you could start in the first week of June and head south from
Manning. That way you avoid the Sierra snow altogether, if there is
any. Temps for the Sierra are "predicted" to be much higher than normal...
