If only the outer fabric is dirty try washing that by hand with a cloth and
a bit of your down wash.
If you suspect the down itself is dirty enough to have lost loft go ahead
and wash the bag.
Use that down wash sparingly.
Extra rinses.
Dry on low for several hours and add some tennis balls to the dryer for the
last stretch.
A word of warning: laundromat dryers can vary wildly in temperature even
set on low.
Just check it once in a while.
Bring lots of quarters..

And bring a good book.

On the other hand, if the bag is just stinky you can wipe down the shell
with a damp cloth and hang it in a tree for a few days.
Sunlight and air are amazing purifiers.
