First let me thank Donna and Jeff for their hospitality back in 2009.
You have helped a lot of hikers and made many great memories.

I do not believe simply discussing the issue on facebook makes Yogi
responsible for Donna's decision to close down.
Clearly Donna is a strong willed person to have put up with hikers this
long.

The ends of things is always painful.

Maybe closing down was already on her mind and the discussion with Yogi
brought that into clarity.

The Saufley's have given so much, but hiker numbers are increasing.
How much longer could we expect them give?

Either way Hiker Heaven is closing and it is Donna's decision alone.

The trail is still there.
Hikers will find a way.
