[pct-l] PCTA Statement on Water Caches

Can anybody state the name, date, location and circumstances in which a 
hiker was harmed by using a water cache?  Are water caches any more 
unsightly in the wilderness than 1000 wind turbines placed there and 
operated for a profit? If you love the PCT more than I do, first of all, how 
would you know?  And secondly, does that make you a better person than I am? 
Let's all HYOH, and let others do the same regardless of anyone's opinion on 
water caches.  Good luck to the Class of 2015.  Bob Riess at the Trailhead
