[pct-l] FLASH- Lake Morena C G to close for tree maintenance May 18, 19 & 20

To all members in good standing, prospects, and guests,

This is a closure notice for the entire park.
Closure dates are May 18th, 19th, & 20th.
Staff will be on site from 6am - 7pm.
Park Ranger "Verl" confirmed via phone conversation just now,
that an Igloo type water cooler will be located at the trailhead where the
PCT enters the park,
nearest sites #33, #32, & #31 (south vehicle entrance.)
A park vehicle will be used to block the road inbound.
No other services will be available for hikers until the park reopens on
May 21st.
I was apprised of this information,
post kickoff,
and offered to pass this inf. on to the hiker community once I had cell
service.
