Thanks everyone for the advice on rain gear and the confirmation on the
weather conditions.

We'd checked online in several places and spoke to a few locals before
heading out, but it seems we did not research the weather thoroughly enough
(or maybe didn't check the best resources...just now found Halfmile's
weather links
http://www.pctmap.net/2015/05/pacific-crest-trail-weather-forecasts/).

We've been checking the NOAA reports since we got cell service back in
town, and it is looking better starting tomorrow. We're also ordering some
heavier duty rain gear in case another system rolls in.

Thanks again!
