[pct-l] Grizzly Peak area snow???

I just talked with the McCloud Ranger station and was told there is snow 
above 5000' in their jurisdiction.  Postholer's maps shows no snow on 
the PCT between Hat Creek and Dunsmuir.

Anyone been on the trail out there - or on Grizzly Peak Road or Summit 
Road which parallels the PCT?  I spent nine days on the Oregon Desert 
Trail (read cross-country and two-tracks) south of Bend,OR, and am 
itching for something with a trail...
