The PCT-L is a valuable resource for hikers of many different abilities and 
experiences.  For many years, starting in 1999, the PCT-L was the only way 
to make contact with your San Diego hiker host.
Nothing good ever came from Facebook.  There are better conversations taking 
place in most high schools.
