Just in case some of you haven't heard, Echo Chalet, which has been an important resupply place for PCT hikers is not providing this service this year. Their website reads "Attention thru-hikers (PCT/TRT): The Chalet can no longer receive re-supply packages.  If addressed to us, packages will be held at our regional post office (Twin Bridges) located 9 miles west on Highway 50 next to the Strawberry Station Market, and across from Strawberry Lodge. Hours 9:30-4pm M-F. Closed 1pm-1:30 for lunch. Phone: 530-659-7670
"Alternatively, hikers can mail to the South Lake Tahoe Main Post Office; 12 miles from Echo Lake, at  1046 Al Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Phone: 530-544-5867  Take Highway 50 through Meyers to Pioneer Trail (or continue to Lake Tahoe Boulevard) then proceed east to Al Tahoe Boulevard. The facility is located at the south end of the shopping mall.

"It is STRONGLY SUGGESTED that you use priority mail in order to obtain tracking numbers, and permit forwarding if necessary. Keep that number with you if calling for delivery confirmation or forwarding instructions. Remember you will need to provide a photo I.D. to pick up (or forward) a priority package."

Echo Chalet does plan to continue its operations as a summer resort.
