I drove my Honda Civic last week-end thru Claraville, left on Jawbone Cyn
approx. 5 miles to where the PCT crosses it at mile 602.5 (Halfmile map).
Parking on either side of road. No problem. A few rocks to avoid, but
otherwise not too bad a drive. Don't go past that point though as there is
no way to get near the PCT, and Geringer Grade is a mess (as you noted).
