[pct-l] Mobile Phone Coverage North of Toulumne

Hi,

A friend is planning on joining me for about a week from South Lake Tahoe
north (through desolation wilderness).  He would of course like to know
where I am so we can arrange a meeting time. I have AT&T does anyone know
what cell phone coverage is like North of Toulumne?  Any coverage at:

Sonora Pass?
Carson Pass?
Other places?
