Actually, the other thing you have to consider is what type of food you take and your personal preferences for cooking/eating.

I have a Jetboil and a SnowPeak.  The Jetboil is great when I'm on a climb where I need to melt snow for water, or if I'm eating food that I am just gonna add water to.  But when I'm backpacking longer distances, I much prefer my SnowPeak.  For one, it actually simmers.  I also eat right out of my cook pot, which the shape of the JetBoil pot doesn't lend itself to easily.
