<div>Is there some reason why the PCTA couldn't hand out a dozen new PCT metal markers (and some light weight nails) to a couple of the older repeat hikers who know the trail. Hand them out at Kick Off and have the hikers post them where the confusing intersections are during their hike. The old fashioned little tree markers should work just fine. This would help the first timers on their hike.
