Ha! Good answer Sly! Interesting article. In my memory he took bread and WINE on his treks. Must be the caffeine that got him past that scary climb. Hopefully there was enough water along his paths to replace what he lost to dehydration. I still wouldn't recommend it to PCT hikers.<br><br><b><i>Slyatpct@aol.com</i></b> wrote:<blockquote class="replbq" style="border-left: 2px solid rgb(16, 16, 255); margin-left: 5px; padding-left: 5px;"> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=US-ASCII"> <meta content="MSHTML 6.00.6000.16544" name="GENERATOR"><font id="role_document" color="#000000" face="Arial" size="3"> <div> <div>In a message dated 11/12/2007 2:26:13 PM Eastern Standard Time, gailpl2003@yahoo.com writes:</div> <blockquote style="border-left: 2px solid blue; padding-left: 5px; margin-left: 5px;"><font style="background-color: transparent;" color="#000000" face="Arial" size="2">We'll never know how John
