aspect and appeals to drivers headed towards your destination.<br>

Wow!!! I wish I had known that a month ago! I hitched a ride from Gov
Camp to Portland.....which was as far as the guy was going. I then
tried to hitch in Portland for 2 and 1/2 hours!!! I soon grew to hate
Portland! I needed to get to Monmouth where my friends lived. I
finally had to give up and call them to pick me up. I had my pack on
but looked pretty respectable. Still I think everyone thought I was
homeless because of the pack. I found Portland to be very anti-
hiker......<br>
