in meals (like Mac & Cheese). So we package a one meal ration of powdered
milk in a small Ziploc bag that I purchased from a medical supply house. The
packet of milk goes inside a quart Ziploc when we repackage the Mac &
Cheese. The small Ziploc is mostly a one-use item, but quite
lightweight. We also package parmesan cheese in these small bags for added
calories. </FONT></DIV>

to rid the world of twisty ties! That and those dumb square(ish)
plastic closures for bread bags. The twisties and the plastic
ones get tossed first thing upon opening a new loaf. Instead I
just make a loose knot in the wrapper to close it. If I use
twisties on the trail, it means I'm going to be p.o.'d at least once
every day when I start trying to un-twist the twisties in the wrong
direction, then the right one, then the wrong one again......well, you
get my point. Could be a real hinderance to the correct mental
