comes from afar and needs a place to put<BR>their sleeping bag for the night,
I've got floorspace<BR>(carpeted, so pad is optional) and two
bathrooms.<BR><BR>I am waiting until it gets closer to sort out the<BR>exact
location depending on how many RSVP. It's only<BR>for the evening, say 5
or 6pm until we disperse<BR>(hopefully before I turn into a pumpkin at 2 or
3am,<BR>but heck, if it's really rocking I won't complain if<BR>we "Ruck" until
sunrise!). I'm going to post this<BR>announcement at various places and
would love it if<BR>you all would pass this on to anyone you think might<BR>be
interested in attending or who knows someone who<BR>might. Experienced
hiker folk, newbies and everyone<BR>in between are all welcome. Bring your
pictures (I<BR>can arrange a laptop & projector if you bring your<BR>pics on
a CD/DVD), stories packs/gear (if you're<BR>willing to show and tell),
questions, etc.<BR><BR>If there are only a few that RSVP I'll probably
just<BR>spring for food/drink. But if it gets sizeable, I'll<BR>ask folks
to bring stuff. I'll keep a running list of<BR>those who RSVP and keep
them/you posted on everything<BR>as we get closer.<BR><BR>I start on the AT in
the spring, so I'm anxious for<BR>all the input I can get and REALLY excited
about<BR>meeting folks. Many thanks to Kinnikinic for<BR>suggesting it and
all her support and coaching to get<BR>me rolling. YA'LL
