detour to Buckhorn Campground, then use Burkhart Trail to rejoin PCT.

12.0pt'>There will be some burnt areas to walk through, but the larger ones are
from previous years, as the big fires this year didn’t hit the PCT for
the most part. Don’t fear the burnt areas – in some areas the fires
burnt out thick vegetation so there are now views, and you can see how nature <span
class=SpellE>regrows</span> from the ashes. A few years ago the burnt areas had
some of the most amazing wildflower displays the year after the fires.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
