I spent a couple of weeks camped in Yosemite Valley. That's when we first heard
of the PCT. Lots of loving and smoking then, by others not us. We were into each
other, always will be. Had a Great Time though and met two other couples. Had
our first encounter with a Mama and baby Bear. Those were the days, where did
they go? Went out to T M to find the PCT always wanted to hike the JMT and the
PCT. Well Happy New Year to ALL and good hiking. Remember "Be Prepared"

dude! Last labor day weekend there was a<BR>> 40 year "Summer of Love"
anniversary FREE concert in Golden Gate Park<BR>> at Speedway Meadows. Many
of the Old Timers from the hippie scene were<BR>> there to reminisce and
re-live the magic. Most acts consisted of one<BR>> original member (usually
the last living one) with some pretty good<BR>> sound alike bands. My
favorite was Taj Mahal who is very old and still<BR>> as good as
ever.<BR>> There was a sea of people and the aroma of cannabis everywhere.
The<BR>> presence of thousands of cel phones and dozens of portable ATM's
was<BR>> .......odd.<BR>> We're not in Kansas anymore Toto!<BR>> Love
