Does anyone have experience with both a Capilene silkweight shirt, and a well-ventilated shirt like the RailRiders shirts? The RailRiders shirts look perfect for the desert heat, but not warm at night like a Capilene 1 shirt would be. I'm thinking about taking only one shirt thru the desert, and can't decide if the Silkweight Capilene is that much hotter in the heat than a shirt with mesh vents would be. Either way it seems like you'd be absurdly hot!

They are slightly lighter and cheaper. Backpackinglight posted a good review of them. Come to think of it, I believe someone may have written about them in the past day or 2.
