Reminds me of an experience that Eric Ryback describes in one of his books, about his hike along the............ummmm, I think it was the CDT. He and his brother were dying of thrist with no hope of water for miles. They finally happened on a cabin in the middle of no where. Apparently there was a barrel outside filled with cool, clear liquid. He took a big swig!!!! Ah.........how refreshing! A big gulp of kerosene........or gasoline........or something like that.
