"The search for a hiker lost for over a week high&nbsp;in the snow-blanketed San Bernardino Mountains was called off Sunday.&nbsp; A man 62, Dean Christy, made a cell phone call for help Jan. 4 when he became disoriented in fog at an elevation of about 7,000 feet.&nbsp; About 80 people combed the area near Green Valley Lake.&nbsp; Rescuers were assisted by four snow cats, three helicopters and five search dogs."<br>
