I can't agree more strongly!! I <span style="font-weight: bold;">HATED</span> carrying the bear cannister, it felt huge and clumsy and it was in the way of my 'packing' every day. I know it didn't add that much to my overall weight, but I groused about it<smile>!! But I wouldn't have <span style="text-decoration: underline;">not</span> carried it and I did it because the thought that I
could be even partially responsible for the death of a bear. . . not one I could live with. <br><br>I was lucky enough to get to participate in the Bear Cannister Loan Program, it was great and I was very happy to get use it.
