Atlas is coming along. I am very close to completing the first book and it
should be available for purchase in time for this year’s thru-hikers to
leave Campo – most likely around the 1<sup>st</sup> of April. The final
book will weigh in at around 100 pages and will be a similar size and weight as
the data-book. It will cover the section of trail from the <st1:country-region
w:st="on">Mexico</st1:country-region> border to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Tehachapi</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Pass.</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
When it’s finished I will update the online demo chapter so you can see
some of the new features. I’ve been working hard on implementing many of
your suggestions and I’m very happy with the direction it’s taking
so far. I really want this to be the ideal hiker’s handbook with tons of
info in a small, lightweight package and none of the annoyances of the other
books we’ve all come to know and hate.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>

to give you advance notice so you can buy whatever other navigation materials
