There in a nutshell is the major change going to a alcohol stove.  Cozy
cooking is a totally different system.  For some well worth mastering.  For
others, well YMMV.

I have and need to try out the K-Mart geese pot.  It has the rim rolled out
instead of in like the Wal-Mart grease pot, so it wont collect nasties to
fall in your food.

The big thing about the alcohol stove is the light weight kitchen.  The down
side is the lack of flexibility in cooking styles.  A good trade at times.
